I haven't logged into this site in...wow, two years? Damn. So, still alive, but I've had a lot going on. 2013 was not a kind year to me. After 5.5 years, I got laid off. The Monday before Thanksgiving. Then had a month or so of unemployment, living off my severance pay. Then I got a job at the beginning of 2014 that lasted all of six months before they laid me off too. Now I'm in a job I've been in since July 2014, and as much as I love the people I work with, the environment leaves a lot to be desired. I'm looking for work again. Sorry for the general not-being-on-the-site (I'm tired, and can't brain right now). Before I get into it, my marriage is fine. So believe me when I say that when things have been rough lately, that means things other than my marital life. My husband is easily my best friend (sorry, Irishais...) and is really helping me get through this. Is it weird to say I don't really feel any different? I feel more mature, at least a little bit, now that I'm a Mrs. Changing my name has already proven to be a pain, and this is just at work. I go to the Social Security office next week (day after Thanksgiving) to officially change my name, then off to the DMV.
